This project relies heavily upon digitized The Student Life issues, located in the Pomona College Archives in The Claremont Colleges Library Digital Archive. To research issues not digitized (before ~1926), a visit to the Special Collections Reading Room was undertaken.  

 

Other sources include institutional scholarship and/or online timelines commissioned by Pomona, CMC, and HMC to record their founding decades. Newer student publications like The Claremont Independent, Claremont Undercurrents, and CMC Salvatori Center's The Forum are also referenced, as well as occasional external sources like the Los Angeles Times, Inside Higher Ed, and The New York Times.
